For Sale: 81 Yamaha Yz465 Matching number bike needing total TLC. The bike was taken apart due to a transmission bearing failure. Would need to be re-assembled from ground up. All engine parts look good but would need to be inspected per daily rider or race bike. The 1981 YZ had larger 43mm forks, twin pull front brake(one just sold on ebay for over a 100 alone) refined transmission and other engine mods. For Sale: 1980 YZ125G built with first-class craftsmanship and first-rate components. The bike was completely disassembled for a rebuild from the ground up. Monoshock was sent to Works Performance for rebuild/revalve. Heavy spring was employed for firmness. Front forks beautifully rebuilt and revalved by Tom Fleming in Central Florida of TF Racing. Gregg Neufield of Fuel Racing Technologies delivered all the engine modifications. He started by dipping the cases and bead blasting them leaving the mid cases bare with black end caps. Interesting Yamaha used the same approach with their 2008 motocross line. Motor was rebuild with all new bearings, gaskets, seals, etc. The crankcases were stuffed reducing the air volume, resulting in boosting the pressure delivering fuel to the combustion chamber faster, end result - faster throttle response as well as instant power. It also improved the bottom end power. A works crank was employed, cylinder was ported, cylinder head reshaped, piston modified, cases were matched to cylinder ports for better flow and maximum performance. Stock was 26.5 hp; this bike now has approximately 35 hp. The transmission was polished including the main shafts, shift shaft, shift drum, shift forks and bead blasting the gears. Finally, the engine was finished off with a new SUDCO 34MM Mikuni carburetor, JEMCO Pipe/Silencer Combination, and DG Head. For Sale: 1975 Suzuki TM-250 - new carb on it. I had a local mechanic replace one seal and another replaced one tire tube. Both mechanics loved the bike. Both tires are in great shape. I also added new side panels as well. The bike starts on the third kick and has great compression. It has a dent in the gas tank and I don't know if it is possible to repair that. If so and if I can find them, I have new decals for the gas tank. The person I bought the bike from had another exhaust pipe built for it, but I have left the original one on it. It is in good shape.
