With the rash of thefts of bikes (especially in the Ocala area) we will post any news of stolen bikes here so you can be on the lookout for them.
It appears that there is a ring in Ocala stealing trucks, trailers, bikes and moving them to Tampa. This is what happened to FLVMX member Jon Sherr in June (see below) and happened to someone else recently. If you plan on staying overnite in the Ocala area, DO NOT leave your trailer at the motel unless you have some kind of theft deterrent system to keep these sleeze bags from stealing your stuff. It is safer to leave your trailer, bikes, etc. at the track close to someone else that is camping there for the night.
Also, record your bike's VIN #s so you can let the police know and others to identify your bikes if found. You can place a mark identifying your bike in an out of the way place to help ID your bike if it is stolen.
